During my trip to Kissimmee Warbird
Museum, Florida, USA, I was fortunate to have access to their MiG-17F
under restoration. This 'Fresco' has s/n 1705 and is property of Thom
Cockpit & pilot's
Wings & fuselage:
wing - apparently already restored - was stored
in another hangar. Except for the flaps, everything was there, and it
was possible to check the wheel wells, landing gear and landing light.
